- AI-generated analysis results, including mechanics scores, coaching cues, and skeleton overlay data

- With your coach or team: If you are part of a team on VolleyIQ, your coach may view your analysis results and progress data. You will be informed when your account is linked to a team.
- Service providers: We use third-party services to operate our platform, including cloud hosting (Vercel), analytics (Google Analytics), and payment processing. These providers only access information necessary to perform their services and are obligated to protect your data.
- Legal requirements: We may disclose your information if required by law or in response to a valid legal request.
Cookies and Tracking Technologies

We may use anonymized and de-identified video data and pose estimation outputs to improve our AI analysis models. This helps us provide more accurate scoring and coaching feedback for all users. Video data used for model improvement is stripped of identifying information (names, account details, team affiliations). You can opt out of having your data used for model improvement by contacting us at support@volleyiq.app.
Data Retention
- Account data: Retained as long as your account is active. You can request deletion at any time.
- Video clips: Retained for the purpose of providing analysis and progress tracking. You can delete individual clips from your account at any time.
- Analysis results: Retained as long as your account is active to enable progress tracking over time.
- Analytics data: Google Analytics data is retained according to our GA4 configuration and Google's data retention policies.
Your Rights and Choices
You have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you
- Update or correct your account information at any time
- Delete your account and associated data by contacting us
- Opt out of marketing communications

Children's Privacy
VolleyIQ is designed for volleyball athletes, coaches, and parents. Our service is primarily used by high school and club-level athletes ages 14 and older.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13 without parental consent. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will take steps to delete that information.
For athletes between the ages of 13 and 17, we encourage parents and guardians to be involved in their use of our service. Coach and team features are designed to facilitate appropriate oversight by adults.
California Residents
If you are a California resident, you may have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), including the right to know what personal information we collect, the right to request deletion, and the right to opt out of the sale of personal information. We do not sell personal information.
Data Security
We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information, including encryption in transit (HTTPS), secure cloud hosting, and access controls. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
